I am a disabled U.S. Army combat veteran (Parkinson's and PTSD). As I got older and retired, my physical condition began to limit my ability to do a lot of the things I used to do as a young man. It was while I was in therapy at the VA that one of my good doctors there recommended I consider finding something creative to do to keep my mind and motor skills active.
As I explored my creative interests I kept returning to my love and passion for the colors, style and spirit of the Southwest. To me, there is something spiritual about the colors and textures of the Southwestern that is expressed in the canyon walls, the vast rolling High Plains of the Southwest and the vibrant colors of the Southwestern sky, especially at sunset. I have come to call this palette of distinctly vibrant colors and textures unique to this special area of America "Buffalo Rain."
You will see that the jewelry and leather accessory items I design are as much an expression of the co;ors and textures of buffalo rain as they are practical for your everyday use and enjoyment. As I pursue creating these articles of my passion I hope you find something that also captures for you a little bit of the Southwestern experience.
